Terms of Service

Effective 2026-06-16. Version 2.1.

1. What InstructorKit is

InstructorKit is an AI-powered training-material generation service operated by Bedford, Louis & Ellicott, LLC ("BLE Training"), a Maryland limited liability company. The service generates training documents based on inputs you provide. InstructorKit was formerly branded “CourseBldr”; the rename does not change these Terms or your rights under them.

2. Who owns the output

You own the output. Completely.

When you generate a training kit using InstructorKit, you own the output completely. This includes the Student Manual, Instructor Guide, Slide Deck, and all other generated documents. You may use the output for any lawful purpose — including commercial delivery of training, sale of training programs, internal corporate training, and client-facing training. You may edit, rebrand, and customize the output without restriction. You may claim copyright in your own name on materials you substantially modify. BLE Training and InstructorKit retain no ownership rights, licensing rights, or revenue share in any generated output once it has been downloaded.

InstructorKit does not store or reuse the content of your uploaded reference materials for any purpose other than generating your requested output.

3. What you are responsible for

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any training content you deliver using InstructorKit output. AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. InstructorKit strongly recommends that you review all generated content before delivering it as training. InstructorKit is not liable for errors in generated content or for any outcome resulting from the delivery of training based on InstructorKit output.

You agree not to use InstructorKit to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or intended to harm any person or group.

4. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase. The refund policy is governed by the separate Refund Policy page.

Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, you agree to contact us first at support@instructorkit.com and allow up to 2 business days for resolution. BLE Training retains time-stamped records of order acceptance, delivery, and the IP address associated with the order, which are submitted as evidence in response to any chargeback for an order that was successfully delivered.

5. Account termination

BLE Training reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or abuses the generation system. Users whose accounts are terminated for cause are not entitled to a refund.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows and upstream dependency outages — including incidents affecting the AI providers InstructorKit relies on — may pause or delay generation. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned downtime in advance.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BLE Training's total liability for any claim arising from use of InstructorKit shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. BLE Training is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

8. Changes to these terms

BLE Training may update these terms at any time. Continued use of InstructorKit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated with each revision.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
