Refund Policy

First-purchase satisfaction guarantee.
If your firstInstructorKit order isn't what you expected, email us within 7 days for a full refund — no questions asked. After your first order, the standard digital-goods policy below applies.
1. What you're buying
A InstructorKit order delivers a custom-generated training package (some combination of Student Manual, Instructor Guide, Slide Deck, Quiz, and related deliverables) based on inputs you supply. Every order is unique to you, produced on demand from a paid third-party model, and delivered as downloadable files.
Before your documents are delivered, InstructorKit shows you a preview of the generated output. We encourage you to review this preview carefully before downloading to ensure the content meets your needs.
2. First-purchase satisfaction guarantee
We want you to try InstructorKit with confidence. So your very first paid order carries a 7-day satisfaction guarantee:
- If you're unhappy with the deliverables for any reason — tone, depth, structure, fit with your audience — email us at support@instructorkit.com within 7 days of generation with your Order ID.
- We will issue a full refundto the original card, typically within 2 business days of receiving your request. We may ask you to briefly describe what did not meet your expectations — this helps us improve the product and does not affect your refund eligibility in any way. No interrogation, no rebuttal — your first order is on us if it didn't earn its keep.
- The guarantee applies once per customer, on your first paid order. Subsequent orders fall under §3 below (all sales final), because by then you know what you're buying.
Refunds under this guarantee are granted at our discretion for buyers acting in good faith. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where the order pattern, download activity, or account history suggests bad-faith use of this guarantee (for example, creating an account, downloading the deliverables, and then requesting a refund while continuing to use the files). Every InstructorKit deliverable carries a small order-id watermark in the footer so we can verify the source of any disputed file.
3. Generation failure guarantee
If InstructorKit fails to generate your order due to a technical error, system timeout, or incomplete output — on any order, not just your first — we will issue a full refund or offer a free regeneration at your choice. Technical failures are our responsibility and are always made right regardless of which order number this is. To report a generation failure, email support@instructorkit.com with your Order ID and a description of what occurred.
4. Subsequent orders — all sales final
Once you've placed and accepted your first order (whether you kept it or used the guarantee), every later order is final once payment processes. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, credits, or chargebacks on a second-or- later order for:
- Buyer's remorse, changed plans, or accidental purchase.
- Dissatisfaction with the style, tone, or specific content choices made by the AI (you can preview a sample at /sample or use the in-app retry on any individual deliverable before treating the package as final).
- Failure to download the deliverables. The package is available from your My Courses page for at least 30 days after generation completes.
- Misuse of the deliverables outside their intended scope (e.g., uploading to an unsupported LMS, editing in software that breaks our format).
- Loss of the downloaded files on your end after delivery.
5. Generation failure — always refundable
Independent of which order it is, if generation fails entirely (the wizard reports a hard error and you receive no deliverables for any document you paid for), we will automatically refundthe order at the moment of failure. You'll see a confirmation in the wizard and receive a receipt email; the refund posts to your card within 5–10 business days. Partial failures (some deliverables produced, others failed) are addressed by in-app retry; they are not eligible for a refund of the successful deliverables.
6. Disputes & chargebacks
Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, you agree to contact us first at support@instructorkit.com. We commit to responding within 2 business days. We retain time-stamped records of your acceptance of these terms, your download of the deliverables, and the IP address and account associated with the order. These records are submitted as evidence in response to any chargeback initiated against an order that was successfully delivered.
Initiating a chargeback for an order that was successfully delivered may result in account suspension and is considered a breach of these terms.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply only to orders placed after the new effective date — the policy version you agreed to at checkout governs your order.
